The Trust is administered by a Board of Trustees of prominent citizens of Guwahati that comprises mainly Senior Citizens and a few youths. The Board of Trustees is a dynamic setup. On basis of the opinion of the majority of the Trustees, a new Trustee can be added; sitting ones can be removed for activities detrimental to the interest of the Trust, non-performance or absenting from Trust meetings for more than four consecutive sessions without valid reasons, debilitating sickness, and death. This is subject to the maximum and minimum numbers of Trustees that are stipulated in the Trust deed. Similarly, an unspecified number of new finds with dynamism, integrity and devotion to the cause are appointed by the Board of Trustees as Co-Opted Trustees to the Board. They have no voting rights.

Normally the Co-opted Trustees are the reserve pool bank from which Full Trusteeship is awarded as and when a vacancy arises. The Board keeps an eye on the Co-opted Trustees to ensure the right person ultimately gets his or her due with elevation. Trustee ship is absolutely voluntary. But once awarded, he or she is expected to conduct in a way that helps the interest and prestige of the Trust. The unwritten emphasis is the induction of young energetic, motivated persons gradually to replace the old to carry forward the ideals and ethos of the Trust. Selfless service to humanity, truthfulness, transparency and moral values are the hallmarks on which the Trust is built.
